“Your first pregnancy appointment should be booked for 8-10 weeks of gestation. If you are already further into your pregnancy and considering swapping care, (e.g. going from public to private) you can make an appointment at any time. Many patients transfer to my care during their pregnancy.”

“Creating a birth plan is an important step in preparing for the birth of your baby. Your birth plan is something we can create together during your appointments.”

“It can be common in pregnancy for your iron levels to become low. Iron is required for both you and your baby. If your levels are low, you may feel very tired. Look for foods that are high in iron or discuss with me if iron supplements are right for you.”
